Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a.k.a. FIP is a viral infection that afflicts an estimated 1~2% of the global feline population annually. FIP is fatal if untreated, with an estimated mortality rate of ~96%.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), It is a fatal disease in cats caused by Feline Coronavirus (FCoV). The disease is generally considered incurable, but there is now an effective treatment for FIP in cats that has been developed using the antiviral drug GS-441524.
